The crowd had a choice: Jesus or Barabbas.
One was innocent. The other was guilty.
One brought life. The other represented rebellion.
And yet… they chose Barabbas.
In one of the most sobering moments leading to the cross, we see humanity at its clearest—we often reject what is right in front of us for what we think we want. The crowd didn’t just make a bad decision… they revealed the condition of the human heart.
But here’s the grace in it all: Jesus took the place of Barabbas.
The guilty walked free… and the innocent was condemned.
